This beer poured a black body and a thick creamy white head. The aroma was like chocolate and the taste was much the same. Pretty sweet. Palate was kind of thick and very creamy. Quite a nice beer in my humble opinion.

Nov 20, 2008 Pours nice and dark. Good head and good porter. Made very similar to the english porter style with a nice body and flavour. Not to much roasting very quaffable! I suggest a 50/50 blend with the monserrate you wont be let down.

Sep 2, 2008 Jet black pour with lasting cocoa color head. Chocolaty and roasty malt flavors. Thick mouthfeel. Bitter sweet flavors as well. Probably the best beer they offer at BBC.

May 31, 2008 Cola colored pour with strong head and heavy lacing. Sweet strong malt flavors with a touch of hops in the aftertaste. This went well with the calamari and chips.
