COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Policarpa (La Pola) Salabarrieta fue una heroína, mártir de las causas libertadoras, que hizo parte de un movimiento guerrillero que buscaba ese objetivo, pero en el año 1817, durante la reconquista, fue capturada y fusilada en Bogotá. Haciendo honor a su nombre, BBC produjo esta cerveza bastante fuerte y con mucho carácter, con muchas semejanzas a la belga Duvel.

A golden ale with a thick lacing white head. In aroma, a nice herbal candy malt, with coriander and rather belgian hops influence. In mouth, a very sweet cloying candy sugar, with a good amount of herbaceous hops. A bit too sweet for me but good. Veering on triple territory. On tap at BBC Parque de la 93, Sept. 22 2009.
