COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Hoptopus IPA is an 8-legged hopheadís dream. Its 8.8% ABV malt base balances with 8 separate additions of hops, 88 IBUs, and a foolishly generous dry-hop to make this denizen of the deep a lupulin delight.

Delicious IIPA courtesy of Dave from Abjuration Brewing. Thanks! Aroma was big and full of hops. Hot lemon peel, grass and grapefruit find. Pour was a beautiful hazy light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was big and hoppy. Definitely more on the tropical fruit hoppiness of things but the bitter grapefruit held its own and shone through. Malt backbone present but not sweet. Overall a pleasant and hoppy IIPA. Good carbonation.

16 oz. can. Clear orange. I donít smell much. Resiny pine hops. Some grapefruit. Some caramel malt. Taste is more defined. Strong malt presence. Caramel and bready malts. Strong resiny pine hop flavor. Quickly builds in bitterness. Pine hop bitterness lingers in the finish. Medium heavy. Not a hop bomb by any means, but itís a decent IPA.

Not a west coast style iipa at all. Lots of sweet malt and not a ton of citrus. I feel like I was lied to by the can.

Not really my style of DIPA. Really malty balance that doesnít allow for the dry hopped thatís advertised. Enjoyable once it warms up but just not meeting my expectations for the hop characteristics found in amazing DIPAís.

64 oz growler into a tulip. Pours a cloudy golden color with lots of lacing on the glass. Very bitter with lots of pine. Very solid beer.

Large white head, rocky, lasting. Hazy, gold color. Lotsa co2 in the nose, slight citrus and pine. med/full body, wacky carbonation. Slightly sweet caramel malts, butterscotch, hint of citrus and pine. co2 is rough. Dry, bitter finish. Meh. 16oz can

Tap. Golden with small head. Awesome dank aroma. Grapefruit and pine a plenty. Excellent IPA.

Thanks to Deuce for this. Pours hazy amber gold with a moderate frothy white top. Aroma is pine and tropical fruit with some nice dankness. Taste is a slow hop bitterness of pine and light tropical. Great beer.

By far the best beer that is offered currently at this brewery. Right from the tap, offered on a flight of 4 has a great balance of flavor and hop. Nice color that is nice full flavor that contains a full taste. I could go back to other IPAíS offered there after drinking this complete beer.
