COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A "wit" ale brewed in the Belgian tradition. Cloudy, light in color, and packed with fruity notes. Enjoy it by itself or with an orange slice (we promise we wont tell).

Bottle courtesy of obguthr at the 15th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering on 07/16/2011. Very clear golden body with a small frothy white head. Somewhat astringent aroma with some fruit. Huge astringent flavor with some light fruit. Medium body with moderate carbonation

Sampled on draft at the brewery on 7/15/11. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a thin creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat, spicy notes and citrus. The taste is big citrus notes with some breadiness and a slight tartness. Medium bodied.

Richmond Gathering. I wanted to like this, I really did. I love wits. This wasnt a good one. Or even a good beer unfortunately. Clear yellow, not hazy. Aroma is soapy, a bit of coriander. Flavor matches. Very light bodied. What kills this is the surprisingly high astringency. I dont think I have ever had a wheat beer with this much astringency. Just strips the palate. Hope they can sort this one out.

Very pale clear light yellow pour with minimal fading white head. Was this filtered? A little floral, a little astringent, a little honey sweet. Tannens and a little woody. Im not really digging this.

A nice wit, not unique... which is what I look for. But enjoyable for sure. Not the standard cloudy. Very drinkable, enjoyable for anyone.
