3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ronaldtheriot (443) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUL 8, 2011
This was sampled from the tap at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis, Missouri. Beach Bum Blonde Ale has a thick, creamy, off-white head and a bright, hazy yellow-orange color. Lots of lacing is left behind. The aroma is of citrus and hops, with lightly toasted malts as well. The taste is a delicious mix of malt breadiness and strong citrus, making one almost think it was flavored with juice, which it is not. Floral hoppiness is a pleasant note here at the end of the sip. The mouthfeel is light to medium, and Beach Bum finishes refreshing, crisp, and dry. Overall, this is a very enjoyable beer, and I hope to have it again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nikiel (713) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 19, 2011
On tap at Budweiser with Andrew and Carla. Pours a very light hazy yellow with white foam. Smells light and crisp. Tastes light, crisp and is more bitter than expected.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 oobawa (580) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 10, 2011
Amazing how, with such a big, complicated description, what you get is a bottle of truly shit beer. All of these flavors may or may not appear, because mainly Beach Bum is a fizzy-yet-watery Michelob brewed with ale yeast. I personally think A-B missed out on a very lucrative advertising niche: Beach Bum, the Seasonal Beer of Assholes. Kinda catchy, I think. (2008)
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 JediMindTricks (397) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - MAY 5, 2011
Golden pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is very light and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness that over powers the hops. Smooth malty flavor with a light hop bitterness at the end. Middle is smooth and sweet. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and lasts for a while. Not a bad brew at all.

Not much in the taste and aroma departments but it’s better than I expected in the "light and refreshing" category. I wouldn’t turn it down if somebody handed me one on the beach.

Decent mild fruitiness and a little graininess to it. Good blonde ale, surprised its made by In-Bev AB.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 MarkBarnes (329) - Waterville, New York, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Dec. 30, 2010; 12 oz. bottle. Orange/lemon flavored summer ale. Not much aroma, and the flavor is mild. Pretty inoffensive, and could actually be a decent "lawnmower" beer.
2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Mora2000 (2953) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 7, 2010
The beer pours a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is orange citrus with some biscuit malt. Somewhat surprisingly, the beer doesn’t smell bad at all. The flavor is not as good as the smell. While I get a little bit of biscuit malt as well as some orange and pine notes, the overall flavor is very faint. The beer is very watery and has medium carbonation. There is just really not much too this beer. Not one to seek out.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 cbfobes (1045) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 7, 2010
On tap, pours a clear yellow color with a thin white head, aroma has a nice fruit touch with lemon and zest, the taste is overall sweet but bland and not complex, overall pretty boring.

Pours hazy yellos with lots of carbonation. Aroma and taste are citrus and grass.
