Copper color. Crystal clear. Nice malty aroma with a touch of fruitiness. Slightly sweet flavor with a touch of underlying bitterness. Fairly clean. Quite nice.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ABUSEDGOAT (1937) - California, USA - APR 13, 2008
Slightly darker amber color. Aroma is toast, bread, grass, caramel. Medium to light body, quite drinkable. Lacks the finesse of some better ones out there.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bobsy (194) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2008
Deep copper body with an off-white head. Spicy caramel aroma. The flavour is grainy and sweet with lots of caramel, and the body is fairly well-balance. Decent, but I’ve decided that oktoberfests are not for me.

A big malty beer here. Strong caramel aroma and taste. I appreciate the bold flavor and aroma. Something about it just doesn’t blend well though. Needs to be smoother and rounded out more.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Lubiere (6979) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 14, 2006

On tap at the San Francisco "Brews on the Bay" Festival. Light copper appearance, nice white head and lacing. Slighlty citrusy aroma. Faint trace of caramel, some vegetable notes, but more like an everyday amber than an Oktoberfest.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 bitter (1137) - Henderson, Nevada, USA - AUG 10, 2005
tried this little beer at the beach chalet, a beautiful place to have brunch while in SF. amber hue with soft marmalade head. hints of orange, raisins, vanilla and maybe even theat darn bee thing honey. big moltiness up front, with the citrus underneath with unique hop flaver, good but a little off for the style IMO.

Tap. A medium golden color with a tan head. Malty with a slightly aromatic nose but otherwise like a marzen.

Bitter, effervescent and sharp edged, this is a balanced but without aroma and seasoned flavor.
