Clear golden pour with a white head. Definitely a strong butter note to the nose. Some grass, floral hops, and bready sweetness. Light citrus peel in there, too. The flavor is somewhat sweet and quite buttery. Tons of diacetyl, a mild bitterness, some bread, floral hops, and lots of grass. As with the nose, light citrus peel notes.

Pours a clear golden colour with loads of bubbles. Aroma of grainy malts, grass and citrus. Flavour of grainy malts, strong citrus, herbs and grass. Medium bodied, hard carbonation and grassy bitter finish. Their golden ale had a German feeling and so does this.

From sampler at the brewpub, 17/08/12. Bright foaming gold beading steadily. Light woodsy spice, pine, soapy parsley, slight bread but very hop-forward. Dries with serious back-of-the-tongue bitterness. Pine and soapy lemon aroma; grass and shrub, honey and lemon. Lacy.

Some nice taste of citrus. A little bit bitter at the aftertaste. For an American brewery quote good.

A decent hoppy aroma is the highlight of this underwhelming IPA. Still worth a try if you find yourself here.

On tap at the brewpub. By far the most impressive of their offerings. Pours with a very lightly hazed golden yellow body with a thick and lasting white head. Good lace. Aromas are floral and citrusy. Good and classic hop aroma with some grapefruit, tangerine, orange and light lemon. Malt is light (good): grainy and bready. Flavors are nicely dry with an assertive bitterness that is all citrus in nature. Tangerine. Malt bill is a bit odd for a west coast IPA. Seems a bit grainier and straw like than usual (Pils maybe?). Overall, this is a nicely put together, small, dry IPA. Lively, light bodied dry, crisp, good!

Draught at the brewpub, SF. Hazy golden looks with a smallish off white head. Some piney hop and citrus in the aroma. Decent malt/hop balance to the flavour. Gently lingering bitter finish. Solid, fresh and drinkable ipa. The murals downstairs are great here by the way.

Draft. A light golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of grapefruits and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and grapefruit, leading to a bitter finish.
