(On tap) Clear, pale golden with a small, white head leaving laces. Sweetish aroma of malts. Medium body with lightly sweet malt. Basically no bitterness. 270307

GeneralGao (3545) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - AUG 1, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear, gold color with white head that laced the glass. Smells and tastes of sprucy hops and fresh cereal grain. Your basic light beer.

"I guess I’m just at that point where I really can’t enjoy a beer where flavor is so lacking. This ale pours a light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is not pleasant at all--hay, bitter, and skunk would be my call. The taste is thin and follows the aroma profile. I wish I would have skipped this one altogether."

This is the best beer with "light" in its name that I have ever had, but that doesn’t say much. It wasn’t very interesting. It was thin, somewhat crisp. The hops have a little bit of bite, and I liked the hop flavour. This was a drinkable and enjoyable beer, but nothing outstanding.

tupalev (2730) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 29, 2005
On tap at the brewpub. Yellow, small thick white head. Faint grain aroma. Odd malt taste - organic veggie like. Slight hops. Buttery popcorn taste as well. Weird, but flavourful enough for a light, but not recommended.

PorterPounder (4105) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 19, 2005
On tap at the San Francisco "Brews on the Bay" Festival. Light, plae golden appearance. Decent, bready aroma with some honey notes. Flavor has a hint of honey in it as well. Obviously brewed for the masses.

Lubiere (6979) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2004
Tap. Light hazt blonde with a light lemony malt aroma. Good malt with nutty roasted notes. Hops in finish. Good bodied for a light! (June 2004).

Very nice beer in the yellow fizzy American style. It’s hoppier and drier, crisp, clean and notably noseless.
