I had this on draft at the Beach Chalet brewpub. This is a clear yellow pour. For something called ’light’ there’s a nice presence of hops and malt.

Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Light malty aroma and taste with grainy notes and mild crispness.

Tap. Light hazt blonde with a light lemony malt aroma. Good malt with nutty roasted notes. Hops in finish. Good bodied for a light! (June 2004).

Draught at the Giants Brewfest. Pale gold with a white head and visible carbonation. Light grain and bread aroma. Clean flavor with a snappy pale malt profile and a touch of balancing herbal hops. Light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Honestly nothing too interesting, but struck me as well put together and fermented for what they are going for, and certainly easy to drink.

Sampled at the brewpub on 7/10/2009. This light beer/pale lager pours a light gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grainy. Medium bodied Pale Lager. The malts are cereal and grainy. The hops are spicy and earthy. Good carbonation. Nice balance. Has some taste for a light beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pretty nice easy drinking ale. Perfect for a hot summer day. Not a lot of flavor but there’s just enough to keep it interesting.

On tap at the brewpub. Pleasantly surprised by this one. Pours with a crystal clear pale yellow hued body with a minimal white head. Aromas of grass, corn, hay, grainy aroma. Pils malt, a bit sulfury with light esters. Flavors are grainy, a bit bready and biscuity, light sulfur, and a carbonic bite. Hint of metal. Light, herbal and hoppy, grassy. Mostly malt. Watery, bland, and light with a mineral character. Lively, thin and dry. Thirst quenching. Bland but nothing really off about it.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear, gold color with white head that laced the glass. Smells and tastes of sprucy hops and fresh cereal grain. Your basic light beer.

Tap at the brewpub. The body was pale gold with a white head. The aroma was bready with some potatoes and grass. The taste was grassy hay. Not much else. Decent for a lighter golden ale.
