COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amalgamator is our newest "West Coast" IPA that’s bursting with unique aromas and flavors. A light base of American 2-row malt makes way for the hops to take the stage. Amalgamator is hopped in the kettle with Amarillo, Warrior, Columbus, and Mosaic, a brand new American variety. The dry hop is a massive charge of Mosaic that lays down an amalgam of passion fruit, dank resin, and citrus aromas.

P: A golden orange color with a thin white head. S: Mango right upfronTt followed by a mix of tropical fruits, pine and berries. T: Leans heavily on the pine with a presence of grapefruit, dark bread, grape skin, pear skin, it ends with dark pine and dry citrus. M: Medium carbonation almost at the high level, this definitely has the 99ibu’s. O: Cant go wrong here but would rather hit up melrose.

Appearance was clear orangish gold with lasting off white creamy 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrusy fruits and sublime sweet malt backbone, no alcohol present. Taste are pineapple, lemon, orange, grapefruit then slight pale, crystal malt sweetness with hints of resinous pine. Palate was soft smooth CO2 with medium body, then lasting citrusy smooth finish. Good draft IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a clear golden hued body with great lace. Aromas are hugely hoppy, grassy, tropical fruit, dry, berries, pine and resin. Really grassy. Flavors are grassy, bitter and quite clean, fruity, tropical fruit, blueberries and citrus. Interesting hop. Medium bodied, good carbonation, lightly warming with a dry and bitter finish.

tap at torst. awesome beer. juicy pineapple and citrusy fruit hops. nicely balanced by dry crisp toasted caramel. complexity added by some soft pear-like fruit and a passionfruit which led this to come across as almost more of a hoppy belgian ale to me. really good. dry. easy drinking. maybe my favorite brew of the day at this torst joint.

Pours a light yellow color. Fruit punch aroma that is lighter than the punch the beer makes. Massive fruit flavors in this one that I assume is from the Mosaic hops. I get a big hit of grape skins here. Plus a mouthful of bitterness.

Golden orange pour with a white head. Huge pineapple aroma, almost like pineapple juice. Lots of grapefruit and tangerine, too. A decent pine aroma, some bread, and a hint of grass. The flavor is similarly intense in terms of the pineapple. Plenty of grapefruit and tangerine, nice pine, and a moderate bitterness. Very light bread flavor and malt sweetness.
