2 oct 2013, tap at Beachwood Long Beach. Yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is big grapefruit and peaches. Med body and barely fizzy. Taste isn't as big as the nose. Some caramel malt, mild grapefruit, hints I tropical fruits. Decent.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Beachwood BBQ Long Beach. Clear golden pour. Lacing of God. Juicy, dank, tropical fruit nose. Taste follows- @#$! Amarillo and Mosaic combination for the win. Juicy, quenching, fresh with mega bright hop resin coupled with muted butterscotch and fresh sourdough biscuit. IPA perfection. The best from Beachwood to date and tied for my favorite IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler courtesy of Andrew, thanks! Pours bronzey-amber with a tan head. Aroma is bruised apples (I get that a lot with Mosaic), a whisper of passion fruit, and a sort of bready, almost toffee maltiness. Flavor is pretty dank and fruity, but not in the generic citrus hop way. More fruit salad than anything. Pretty solid but Mosaic isnít impressing me that much.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Many, many samples at THE FESTIVAL 2013 with Andrew, Jay and Kramer. Pours a bright golden body with light haze and white lacing. Aroma is fresh lemon and citrus funk, super tropical fruits bursting, grapefruit drizzled with honey and light dankness in the back. I wouldíve guessed Nelson had something to do with this recipe - but apparently itís the Mosaic in the dry hop thatís adding a super fresh dankness. Additional notes of tropical and citrus fruits - mangoes, oranges, grapefruit, tangerine, peaches, light honey and fresh citric hop. Wonderfully sessionable, worldclass IPA.
