COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopheads rejoice! Citraholic is a "modern" West Coast IPA that’s focused on Citra, one of our favorite new American hop varieties. Brewed with an abundance of Citra hops, we also blend in Warrior, Columbus, and Simcoe in the kettle for good measure. Citraholic is double dry hopped for two weeks with an abundance of Citra (and a touch of Columbus) imparting heavy aromas of citrus & tropical fruits with melon and gooseberry nuances. A base of American 2-row malt and scatterings of light British caramel malt create the perfect foundation for this unique and powerfully pungent IPA. You asked for it and we were happy to deliver!

Tasted at the 16th Bistro IPA Festival on April 6, 2013. This IPA pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy, herbal and sweet. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. Nice dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draft at Torst with Clockwork and Joel. Pours a bright golden amber with light haze and white lacing. Aroma is strong pine resin and light fruit. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of bitter pine upfront with bitter citric fruits following. Lots of resin, overall very nice IPA.

Clear golden orange pour with a white head. Nice grapefruit and tangerine aroma, plenty of pine, and a nice hint of pineapple. Very floral and perfumer, too. A light bread note in the background. Tastes quite bitter. Heavy pine hop notes, a light floral quality, and tons of citrus peel. Nice grapefruit and tangerine with just a bit of sweet bread.

Pours a pale golden color with a white head. Opens up with a solid grapefruit and citrus aroma along with plenty of pine. A mild bread note, maybe some floral qualities, too. The flavor has a decent bitterness and pine flavor, but the citrus and floral notes are not quite as intense. A bit of bread/malt sweetness in there as well.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Big hops aroma with a roast malt backing. Lots of fruity flavors and hints of actual fruit flavors in this brew. A very tasty new IPA.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden hue with a lasting frothy white head. Great lace. Aromas are big, dank, citrus, tropical fruits, very floral. Great hop aroma, low malt character. Flavors are medium bitter, nice stone and tropical fruits, some dank character. Hoppy, dry hop grassy character, citrus, light alcohol. Medium bubbles, lightly warming and quite dry.
