Hopheads rejoice! Citraholic is a "modern" West Coast IPA thatís focused on Citra, one of our favorite new American hop varieties. Brewed with an abundance of Citra hops, we also blend in Warrior, Columbus, and Simcoe in the kettle for good measure. Citraholic is double dry hopped for two weeks with an abundance of Citra (and a touch of Columbus) imparting heavy aromas of citrus & tropical fruits with melon and gooseberry nuances. A base of American 2-row malt and scatterings of light British caramel malt create the perfect foundation for this unique and powerfully pungent IPA. You asked for it and we were happy to deliver!

Thanks for the growler, flopfacefred. This is excellent stuff. The beer pours a medium-light gold color. It appears to be perfectly clear. The head is thick and white, always nice to see when pouring from a growler. Lots of lacing. The aroma is just chock full of Citra hop goodness. Itís got a lot of juicy fruit and a pretty heavy dank backbone. The fruit is tangerine, melon, mango, kiwi, grapefruit, strawberry. Very light malt sweetness in the back. Moderate to medium bitterness, firm enough to give the beer some bite but not so much to interfere with the hop flavor. Lots of sweet hop fruitiness. Melons, kiwis and strawberries on top of citrus. Very easy to drink. It really opens up as it warms. Smooth, light feel. Nice citrus rind, pine needle, dank finish. Iím moving through this growler pretty well with just a little help from a friend. Very enjoyable.

22 oz bottle shared by Gus. The pour on this is a deep reddish gold with a nice white head and some great lace. The aroma is really citrusy and hoppy. There is a nice malt profile that rolls in about half way through and carries out the back. The flavors are much more dank than hoppy or citrusy. There is a big malt happening the mouth feel is nice and thick, well carbonated with a lingeringly dank bitter aftertaste. Just awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Just as good as many other great ipaís that showcase the citra hop. Very citrus and tropical but with an odd finish. Very enjoyable nonetheless.

Draught @ Festival of Dankness, San Diego. Aroma has sweet fruity notes and pineapples. Flavour has gluey tones, cereal, some tropical fruits and hibts of pineapples. A bit too gluey, especially in the finish.
