COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ka pow! Hop Ninja is an in-your-face West Coast double IPA. Hop flavors slice their way through a base of American 2-row malt kissed by caramel malt. Quadruple dry hopping with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus creates an aroma that skillfully takes your olfactory senses hostage. A dry finish masks the sneak attack of 8.9% ABV.

Tap at FW Fest. Pours a darker golden with light head. Aroma is sweet malty and not that hoppy. Very aggressive malt bill on this and almost tastes old. Hops are not super apparent but are there and you can taste the sweetness rather than rancid hops. A big beer but the heat doesn’t make me come back to it.

Comes as advertised. This is a big hoppy beast without subtlety. The hops really linger for a while. Pours a dark orange color. At BAM Fest 2012.

On tap at Stone, great dark orange. Citrus aroma, grapefruit and pine as well. The aroma is almost a hoppy sweetness. Thick mouthfeel. Backend is all strong hops. Front is a lot of malt. Very good.
