COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ka pow! Hop Ninja is an in-your-face West Coast double IPA. Hop flavors slice their way through a base of American 2-row malt kissed by caramel malt. Quadruple dry hopping with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus creates an aroma that skillfully takes your olfactory senses hostage. A dry finish masks the sneak attack of 8.9% ABV.

Another brilliant and dangerous creation, with all the west coastyness one could wish for. Pine Resin, mango, papaya, with a hint of malt to balance on. as delicious as it is and at 8.9% it sneaks up on you and kicks your ass!

>> Pours clear orange, good white foam. Ridiculous lace. High carbonation. Nose is salty, floral, sugary tangerine. Taste is dusty, stale. Disappointing. Palate is chalky dusty. Slight white alcohol.

Keg at Beachwood, Long Beach, 17/04/14. Clear golden orange with a moderate off white swirl and edgework. Nose is bitter citrics, pine, red grapefruit, juicy hops. Taste comprises grapefuit, pine, bitter orange pith, light spice. Medium + body, fine carbonation, agressive hop bitterness in the close. Solid West coast DIPA.

Amazing beer. Wow. I live for west coast IPA and this sets a mark. Haven't heard of the brewery either. Cloudy orange pour with sticky white head. Taste of sweet tangerine grapefruit and even banana. Pretty bitter and hoppy. Delicious beer. Had this from draft at the Hollister brew house

Tasted on tap at the 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/9/2013. This double IPA pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, orange and citrusy. A medium bodied Imperial India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral, a touch piney. Lots of orange. Nice balance between the malts and hops. Smooth, nice lingering bitterness. Very clean and dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pouring at The Festival in Portland with Kramer, Andrew, and J-Dadmond. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft citrus, wheat on the nose. Big citrus, lots of soft malt. Crisp, hoppy. Long grapefruit on the finish. Lovely.
