Ka pow! Hop Ninja is an in-your-face West Coast double IPA. Hop flavors slice their way through a base of American 2-row malt kissed by caramel malt. Quadruple dry hopping with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus creates an aroma that skillfully takes your olfactory senses hostage. A dry finish masks the sneak attack of 8.9% ABV.

Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of fresh resinous hops, floral notes, juicy fruits, loads of pine, grass and citrus. Taste is juicy, chewy and caramely with massive amounts of hops, tropical fruits, grass, pine, resin and floral notes. Finish is lingering bitter, hoppy and malty with loads of tropical fruits. Awesome.

A really competent Double IPA. I read somewhere that Avery Dugana is supposed to be a clone of Pliny the Elder... but the Ninja is the true heir to that throne. Nose is big with orange, rind and resin. The flavor profile is more dry than fruity, but there is some citrus underneath all that oily hop leaf. Thanks to Shyam for the growler.

Draught @ Beachwood BBQ, Long Beach, CA. Pours a hazy golden colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of juicy citrusy fruitiness, white grapes and caramel. Flavour of heavy citrusy bitterness, white grapes, mild sweetness, heavy herbal notes and dank weed notes. Full bodied. Long, awesome, heavy, bitter, juicy finish. Hop punch to the face and it feels good.

Light orange pour. Whitish head. Julian strikes again! Grapefruit peel, tropical fruit, caramel sweetness in the nose. Flavor is an insane blend of citrus hops, resin, caramel and light bready notes. YES!

Amazing beer. Wow. I live for west coast IPA and this sets a mark. Haven't heard of the brewery either. Cloudy orange pour with sticky white head. Taste of sweet tangerine grapefruit and even banana. Pretty bitter and hoppy. Delicious beer. Had this from draft at the Hollister brew house

On tap at BAM Fest. Pours with a lightly hazed orange hued body with a small white head. Aromas are extremely dank, fruity, citrusy, orange and a bit grassy. Minimal malt character. Flavors are very fruity, dank, citrus, grassy. Fresh and awesome. Grapefruit and light tropical fruit edges. Very nicely bitter balance without being overbearing in the slightest. Lively bubbles, dry, with a very light caramel character. Really good!
