3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Thick black color with dense tan head. The taste is rich and full sweetness up front but balanced out with some heavy bitterness on the back end and finishes very dry. The body is full and more smooth than creamy and has long dry bitter finish. Overall great example of the style, nice bitterness to round it out and worth trying.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Aroma: Roasted malts with coffee and cocoa. Smells like a dark mocha.
Appearance: Black with minimal head, but lots of lacing.
Taste: Light sweetness with dry bitterness.
Palate: Full body, dry texture, soft carbonation, long dry finish.
Overall: YES! A nice dry stout with a slightly hoppy finish. Really caught my attention. I’m really impressed by this one.

In tap at CBC 2012. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Malty-roasty aroma. Starts intense malty, dry-woody, more and more bitter. Earthy finish, a bit milder. Not bad!
