COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American stout brewed with rye malt for a silky body, Kilgore is brewed with British roasted barley and chocolate malts for a roasty backbone with notes of coffee and cocoa. Hopped with Chinook, Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops for a citrusy Pacific Northwest punch

Draught at CBC 2012. Black -- offwhite head. Roasted, nice but light burned, nice bitterness, chocolate, nice roasted, fresh hoppy, ok bitterness, coffee, cacao. Very pleasant.

[5/11/12] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Black, not completely opaque, with a light brown head. Roasty-hoppy aroma. Flavor has some roastiness and coffee and lots of bitter, slightly citric hops. Medium-full-bodied.

Draught at CBC 2012 Pitch black coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet and roasted aroma of caramel and dark chocolate. Sweet and roasted flavour of dark chocolate and caramel. Roasted finish.

Pours a dark brown colour with a beigeish head. Aroma of toasted malts, nuts and berries. Flavour of toasted malts, chocolate, nuts, berries and toffee. Medium bodied, rough mouthfeel and a bitter roasty finish. Quite straightforward.

Pours pitch black with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate, hints of syrup. Taste is smooth and creamy with slight roastiness, hints of vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Finish is smooth and slightly roasty Quite good.

At CBC 2012 ... It pours pitch Black with a small creamy tan head... The aroma is brett yeast .. Coffee and chocolate ... The flavor is also coffee.. And chocolate! Very nice !
