Quite hard to describe the taste in the beginning, but very unusual (in good sense) for staut.
Pretty interesting aftertaste where roasted barley is followed by hops bitterness.

Clear dark brown with a brown head. Aroma medium to heavy malty (roasted, chocolate, coffee and licorice). Flavor medium to heavy sweet, medium bitter. Medium+ body, smooth, very nice.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours a clear and dark brown beer with weak brown head. The aroma is malt, roasted, chocolate, coffee and licorice. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark roasted, light to moderate hoppy, cacao - coffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120511]
