COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in collaboration with Triple Rock.

Laurel IPA is Beachwood’s newest addition to its portfolio of West Coast IPAs. The foundation is laid with a base of American 2-row malt and a dash of light British caramel malt. Five different hop varieties are added to the kettle for massive layers of hop goodness. Amarillo, Summit, Columbus, Centennial, and Simcoe intermingle for an energetic burst of citrusy hop flavors. A generous dry hop addition of Amarillo, Centennial, and Summit make for a dank and pungent aroma that is sure to entice the most discriminating "hophead."

On draft at Beer Revolution. It pours golden with a nice white head. The aroma is a beautiful combination of citrus, pine, florals and dank. Incredibly fresh and potent aromatics. I can’t wait to take a sip. The flavor is just as good with rose petals and dank with some citrus, pine and light caramel coming through in that order toward the finish. For my tastes, this is a perfectly executed IPA. It’s a complete overload on hops with the slightest touch of malt character for mouthfeel rather than flavor. It goes down pretty easy and strikes a great balance between a single and double IPA.

Thanks to Julian for this beer. This clear golden pour has nice hoppy, tropical flavors. The malts are muted but overall it’s quite tasty

Pours a clear amber color with a sticky white head. Intense pine and floral hop aromas. Very resinous and perhaps even a bit herbal. Almost no malt is to be found here. Just a touch of tropical fruit, quite a bit of grapefruit peel. The flavor is quite bitter, moreso than expected. Intense pine, herbal, and resinous hop qualities. Grapefruit peel and maybe a little pineapple on the finish. Again, almost no malt. Medium bodied with medium carbonation and a dry finish.

On tap and cask. Preferred the draught offering. Tap rating: Pours with a clear golden body with a lasting white head that leaves great lace. Aromas are of tropical fruit, light grainy, medium esters, dank. Flavors are fruity, medium esters, delicate bready malt character. Lots of tropical fruit, and a myriad of citrus. Lively bubbles and dry with a medium alcohol presence.

On cask, dry hopped with Citra. Pours with a hazed golden body with a perfectly conditioned white head. Aromas are dank, citrusy, tropical fruit, hoppy and lightly grainy. Flavors are medium bitterness, grassy, tropical fruit and dank. Creamy mouthfeel with medium bubbles.
