COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mocha Machine is a well-engineered endeavor in massive aromatics and rich flavors. Brewed with an array British and German malts, this burly brew is infused with masterfully roasted coffee from Portola Coffee Lab in Costa Mesa, CA. It is then aged on cacao nibs from Equador, adding an awesomely deep dimension of fudge.

Bottle shared by Tony. Dark brown pour with a kaki head. Chocolate coffee aromas. Bakers chocolate, bitter/tangy coffee, and bitter dark toasted malt notes. Huge amounts of mocha when it warms up. Good body and mouthfeel.

Holy shit this is great. Samples at GABF. Pours nearly black, nice brown head. Creamy, bold, coffee, fudge brownies, chewy. Just incredibly good. One of the best beers I had at GABF.

Bottle - pours dark black with brown hue. An awesome coffee aroma in the nose with hints of chocolate. Roasted coffee and chocolate taste. It’s fudgy and rich.

GABF 2014. Pours a black appearance with a dark brown head. Quite roasty. Plenty of dark chocolate, moderate coffee, earth, and a hint of smoke. Lots of flavor. Great beer.

GABF 2014 with Andrew, Mel and David. Pours a deep black with thick tan lacing and head. Aroma is incredible - rich luscious espresso covered in sugar and sweet caramel syrup. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet cocoa and chocolate coming through balancing nicely against the rich espresso character. Great.

At The Common Table with Jacob, Justin, and Cody. Pours black with a hint of lacing. Aroma is absolutely massive freshly ground espresso beans, dark chocolate, delicious authentic dark breakfast coffee. Taste is fantastic, chalky espresso beans, chocolate, dark toasty.

Keg at Beachwood, Long Beach, 17/04/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown/light black with a moderate tan covering that retains as a large lake and edgeing. Nose carries a big mocha blast, roasted malt, chocolate. Taste comprises coffee cake icing, sweet licks, cocoa powder, vanilla essence, roast malt, coffee bean. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid coffee fuelled porter.

Tap at Beachwood LB, super strong coffee nose, no surprise there, I don’t find the fudge or cacao nibs because of the abundance of coffee, almost a gritty like texture which is surprising, still a fantastic brew.
