COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Simcoe is one of our favorite hops at Beachwood. It’sflavors and aromas are juicy, tropical, and piney, all at the same time. Street 3, Block 2 is a celebration of Simcoe dressed up as a hoppy American pale ale; it’s hopped with 100% Simcoe, all the way through the dry hopping.

Tap at Beachwood thanks to t0rin0! Clear golden orange pour with good lacing. Juicy, dank papaya and kumquat nose. Super juicy valencia orange Taste with complete grapefruit juice finish. Approaching soapy from intensity but just staying on the edge there providing a wicked bitterness with quenching body to balance. Really fantastic and super drinkable.

On tap on a Sunday night. P: Golden amber with a thin head and a lot of tiny bubbles and sticky lacing. S: Dank hops, some tropical fruits, melons, pine and grass. T: Lots of pine, some onion, grass, and pineapple. This has a semi strong bitter finish containing pine, tree bark and bread. M: Medium body with light carbonation. O: Nice stuff.

Clear golden orange pour with a white head and sticky lacing. Amazing citrus and tropical aroma. Big pine, mild breadiness, grass, and green melon. Huge fresh grapefruit flavor. Grass, pine, and floral notes. Mild melon, some bread, and nice dry, bitter finish.

On tap at the source. Pours with a slight hazed golden hue with a thick and retentive white head with great lace. Deep, dank and resiny simcoe with medium fruit notes and mild pine. Grassy dry hops, light hops minimal fermentation character. Huge hop flavors, pine, grapefruit, crisp fruitiness and piney resin, with a bitterness that builds and then lingers nicely (not oppressively). Medium grass and tangerine. Bready malt structure. Very session able. Oddly a touch low on carbonation, I could use a little more brightness there (still carbed but it tastes about 2.35 vol, I’d like to see it closer to 2.55-2.6), medium to low body. Dry. Great stuff!
