COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Dominator is a "West Coast" meets "old school" IPA that celebrates classic ingredients. We begin with a base of American 2-row malt for a solid foundation, but add a subtle layer of British caramel malt for a toasty accent. In the kettle the beer is hopped with Galena, Columbus, and Centennial - classic Pacific Northwest hops that add a citrusy and piney punch. It’s the generously dry hopped with Galena and Columbus for a dank resiny aroma.

On tap at Father’s Office. Pours with a clear golden hued body and a lasting white head. Great hoppy aroma that notes lots of fruity, spicy, herbal and slightly dank hop aromas. A bit of caramel and light breadiness. Flavors are bitter, fruity and pretty clean overall. Light dankness. Really enjoyable. Lasting bitterness, bready malt, light alcohol. Medium carbonation with a dry finish.

On tap in Long Beach. It pours golden with an off white head. The aroma has tropical fruit and hints of caramel. The flavor has piney hops with quite a bit of caramel and hints of bready malt. More balanced than I expected after trying their hop bomb of an APA. Bitter finish. I actually liked the Alpha Master better.

Phone rate. Tap at Toronado SD. Clear golden amber with a one finger creamy eggshell head, good retention. Big pine nose up front, grapefruit and citrus following. Not much in the way of malt. Flavor adds a little sweet caramel that makes for some sweet ripe orange--a little less piney as well, as the fruity hops take over, even adding a but of canned pineapple. Also, caramel much more apparent in the nose as it warmed. Small amount of dry hops noted at warmer temps. Finish was dry, bitterness peaked at a 7, alcohol masked well. Light prickly carbonation with a medium body. Pretty solid--I usually like my caramel malt kept to a minimum, but this blended really well and made the hops taste candied.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and malt flavor with light earth. Mediumb odied. Nice bitterness. Grapefruit and light pine linger with light earth. Expected it to be a little more bitter, but still good.

Pours an orange color with a thick white head. Sweet caramel and bread malt. Some citrus and fruity hops too, though. Quite sweet with lots of caramel and brown sugar. Some hop flavor, a bit of citrus and pine and tropical fruit.
