COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Thrillseeker is a "West Coast-style" India pale ale that is sure to push your senses to the edge. It starts with a base of American 2-row malt and a restrained dose of extra light caramel malt to let the hops punch though. It’s then generously hopped with Chinook, Summit, Centennial, and Simcoe for a massive citrus and tropical hop profile. Thrillseeker is dry hopped with Simcoe and Chinook for an über fresh resiny aroma.

Clear golden amber hue. Strong piney hop and pineapple citrus aroma. Mild biscuity malts, predominant piney hop and grapefruit finish. Nice IPA.

Phone rate. Gravitycask at Toronado SD. Slightly hazy golden orange with a small light beige head. Lots of green dry hopping and fruity citrus tropical hops up front in the nose, cotton candy goodness following. Flavor adds some resiny pine notes and weak black tea, but still lots of bright aforementioned fruity hops. Earthy bitterness peaked at a 8 in the dry finish, woody. Low carbonation with a medium body. Pretty good--a little too bitter for me, and didn’t like the woodiness.

Appearance. Pours a clear bodied amber gold. Atop sits a modest off white head that eventually turns to a swirly film.

Aroma: Citrus bouquet of tangerine, grapefruit, orange. Floral, piney and a little dank.

Taste: Bitter earthy hops followed by a citrus burst of juicy hops.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied with modest prickly bubbles.

Overall: One of the best IPA’s I’ve ever had. Amazing taste and aroma, and not too malty.

Tap at Golden Road. Rating #6. Going from memory for this one, can’t recall a lot of the specifics except that I really enjoyed this beer, real nice IPA. (1949)

Pours a nice orange color. Aroma really hits you with grassy and pine notes. It continues on to the flavor which is strong but not too overpowering. Really bright and hoppy.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2011 On tap (multiple glasses) at Blue Palms 3rd Anniversary. Pours with a clear golden hued body and a small white head that lasts for the duration. Huge citrusy notes, dank, tropical fruit, grapefruit, resin. Minimal malt aromas. Flavors are dank, papaya, citrus, and tropical fruit. All about the hops. Bitter balance, floral, bursting with flavor and aroma. Lively bubbles, dry with a medium lingering bitterness. Very tasty! Second batch is even an improvement on the first!

I had this on tap at Tustin Brewing Company’s 15th Anniversary party. It has nice tropical fruit notes along with the hoppiness.

A: The beer pours a clear, light amber color with a dense white head, and sticky lacing. S: A very intense nose. Lots of pineapple fruitiness and plenty more piney hops. There’s a moderate grapefruit aroma, along with mild herbal notes and sweet tropical fruits. Overall a really dank hop character. T: The flavor is very heavy on the pine. Plenty of perfume with grapefruit, pineapple, and floral hop flavors. There is a decent amount of bitterness to it and only a touch of malt sweetness. M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation and a little bit of bitterness on the finish. O: A nice IPA, here. Perhaps not as good as Melrose, but definitely something you could have a glass or two of.
