COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Thrillseeker is a "West Coast-style" India pale ale that is sure to push your senses to the edge. It starts with a base of American 2-row malt and a restrained dose of extra light caramel malt to let the hops punch though. Itís then generously hopped with Chinook, Summit, Centennial, and Simcoe for a massive citrus and tropical hop profile. Thrillseeker is dry hopped with Simcoe and Chinook for an Łber fresh resiny aroma.

BoostIPA (1108) - Pouring Bus, New York, USA - APR 20, 2014
Bottle via trade extra. Pours a clear gold with almost no head but a slight white ring does exist. Aromas of pretty dank hops coupled with the standard piney/tree sap aroma. Taste is semi sweet and bitter. Flavors of pine bark coupled with some tropical fruit hoppiness. Finishes long and bitter. Good, not great.

Bottle, dated two days ago. Killer, that neo-West Coast IPA style thatís been showing up in LA of late (Noble, El Segundo, Beachwood...) Pours very light and super transparent with light white head. Itís beautiful in the glass -- if this ainít a 5 for appearance I donít know what is. Aroma is fresh hops backed with subtle malt. Taste is juicy and fruity with light tropical tartness and just enough sweetness to bring it home. Citrus / rind / herbs / magic.

Freshly bottled Beachwood IPAs are fire, donít miss íem. A high rating to be sure, but this thing two days old warrants it in my book. Still love Pliny but our best SoCal guys are catching up!

Strong hoppy ipa. At first mouth feel and tropical fruits reminded me of Pliny but as I drank it the bitterness and pine took over. Big bottle whole foods

Bottle - Pine and some light tropical fruits. Clear gold with a rich white head. Grapefruit and a huge bitter hit that fades quickly. Nice IPA.

Bottle from Bine and Vine. Pours a clear light copper color. Aroma is massive tropical fruits and sweet, malty syrup. Taste is sweet with some bitterness and awesome tropical fruits. Medium bodied and dry. Good stuff!

(Draught at the brewpub) clear gold, lasting creamy white bubbles, great lacing too. Nose of pine, mango skin, pretty green in general. Taste is very resiny, pine, green, oily body, nice bitter linger.

A steady pour into my New Belgium globe glass produces a two finger thick, pale, off-white colored head that leaves some layered lacing on the sides of my glass. The aroma smells of candied pine, spruce, lychee, greenish guava, super tropical peach, sweetened, ripe citrus juice. There is an green, herbal, brightly hoppy character that just is dank, herbaceous, and quite marijuana like in some ways; there is a spicy, earthly, dirty peppery character to the herbal notes.

The beer has a huge tropical fruit character to it up front, but then quickly has a biting bitterness that lingers through to the finish. Quite light bodied, but still has just enough viscous malt body to it that the hop character is just lush and ripe. Jumping lychee, hugely ripe lychee, guava marmalade, this beer just has a nicely vibrant hop character to it. The finish, while bitter, also has a peppery, woody, herbal character to it that lingers quite nicely on the palate (assuming of course that you like to self-flagellate your palate with hops.

A great, easy drinking IPA that has a huge, lush, tropical fruit character that still manages to by nicely balanced by a biting bitterness and an herbaceous / pine like character that is just so hoppy and delicious. The body is about as perfect as it gets, extremely light and quaffable, with just enough body to allow the hop character to run beautifully roughshod upon the palate.

Wow. Damn good IPA. Bottle brought home from San Diego. Has a rich malt backbone (sweet dough, light nuts, fresh-baked biscuits). Delicious and super-juicy hops (tangerine, lemon, grapefruit) with nips of pine. Floral aromas. Tastes like it was hop bursted to hell. Bitterness is mild but incredibly balanced. Had I known, I would have packed more of these bottles in my suitcase.
