COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Thrillseeker is a "West Coast-style" India pale ale that is sure to push your senses to the edge. It starts with a base of American 2-row malt and a restrained dose of extra light caramel malt to let the hops punch though. It’s then generously hopped with Chinook, Summit, Centennial, and Simcoe for a massive citrus and tropical hop profile. Thrillseeker is dry hopped with Simcoe and Chinook for an über fresh resiny aroma.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, a touch hazy orange color, dominat aroma of onions with some grapefruit behind it, flavor of onions and shrubs with some melon, medium herbal grapefruit bitterness, bitter grapefruit aftertaste. Nice and quite drinkable.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Ariel for this bottle! Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of oniony hops, overripe fruity and piney, and some malt, with a light buttery hint. Flavor has sweetish malt with a caramel note, fruity, tropical and citric, and piney hops, and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Really great, fresh hop aroma with enough malt backbone to mark it as a special brew. Flavor’s a bit similar, although the bitterness dominates all else. Good drinking brew.

May 21, 2016. Bottled May 2, 2016. Received in a trade, thanks!
Clear golden with a medium sized slightly off-white head. Aroma is peach, orange zest, grass, pine, resin, slight herbal and floral notes and a touch of caramel. Taste is light sweet with hints of peach and caramel, medium bitter with a dry and lingering grassy, piney, herbal finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation.
Solid West Coast IPA with a nice lingering bitterness.

Draft. Pours clear gold with a white head. Fruity hops with a touch of pine, I’d guess Chinook hops [woo-hoo!], moderate bitterness, and lighter sweetness. Good stuff.

22oz bottle pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Intense hoppiness. Tropical flavors and thick resiny feel. A little harsh bitterness at the end. Some musty dampness to it too.

Poured from a bottle. Pale gold. White head. Lots of lacing. Citrusy aroma. Citrus taste with some tropical fruit. A little oily but with a dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: My first Beachwood bottle - A Cali/trade extra - so here goes: It pours clear golden with a modest white head into this glass - theres some light spotting presence here, for what that’s worth. It retains... fairly poorly honestly. I enjoyed the aroma - theres nice tropical / citrus and hop dank here. The flavor profile, however, falls a little flat , unfortunately - It starts hop bittering, light pine, with mineral water coming through too heavily - it fades into more tropical notes moving forward, with a light infusion of caramel as stated - There’s better out there, but I have no clue on the price point here
