A super well rounded IPA. A complex weaving of hops on the nose and tongue. Drink this beer cold and by itself. Delicious.

Wow. Damn good IPA. Bottle brought home from San Diego. Has a rich malt backbone (sweet dough, light nuts, fresh-baked biscuits). Delicious and super-juicy hops (tangerine, lemon, grapefruit) with nips of pine. Floral aromas. Tastes like it was hop bursted to hell. Bitterness is mild but incredibly balanced. Had I known, I would have packed more of these bottles in my suitcase.

Man Jullian can brew the shit outta some beer! Pours a nice gold color with a fluffy white head. Tons of hops bursting in the aroma, citrus, resin, floral, spicy, earthy. Wow. Flavor is just juicy and perfectly bitter. Just a hint of caramel to keep this from going bitter crazy.

Appearance. Pours a clear bodied amber gold. Atop sits a modest off white head that eventually turns to a swirly film.
Aroma: Citrus bouquet of tangerine, grapefruit, orange. Floral, piney and a little dank.
Taste: Bitter earthy hops followed by a citrus burst of juicy hops.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with modest prickly bubbles.
Overall: One of the best IPA’s I’ve ever had. Amazing taste and aroma, and not too malty.

Bottle from House Of Spirits in Monrovia. This beer poured a beautiful clear orange pour with a big white bubbly head. Aroma is freaking awesome with notes of citrus, caramel, and fruity hops. Taste is initially super fruity and sticky with an onslaught of hops hitting the back of your palate. Finishes dry with some caramel malt flavor to keep it from getting too bitter. Wow this is a phenomenal IPA.

A steady pour into my New Belgium globe glass produces a two finger thick, pale, off-white colored head that leaves some layered lacing on the sides of my glass. The aroma smells of candied pine, spruce, lychee, greenish guava, super tropical peach, sweetened, ripe citrus juice. There is an green, herbal, brightly hoppy character that just is dank, herbaceous, and quite marijuana like in some ways; there is a spicy, earthly, dirty peppery character to the herbal notes.
The beer has a huge tropical fruit character to it up front, but then quickly has a biting bitterness that lingers through to the finish. Quite light bodied, but still has just enough viscous malt body to it that the hop character is just lush and ripe. Jumping lychee, hugely ripe lychee, guava marmalade, this beer just has a nicely vibrant hop character to it. The finish, while bitter, also has a peppery, woody, herbal character to it that lingers quite nicely on the palate (assuming of course that you like to self-flagellate your palate with hops.
A great, easy drinking IPA that has a huge, lush, tropical fruit character that still manages to by nicely balanced by a biting bitterness and an herbaceous / pine like character that is just so hoppy and delicious. The body is about as perfect as it gets, extremely light and quaffable, with just enough body to allow the hop character to run beautifully roughshod upon the palate.

Tap at FW Fest. Pours a dark golden with medium white head. Aroma is loads of strawberry and black berry. Great hop profile in the taste with simcoe coming through and some citrus elements. Fruity IPAs are my thing and thus this is my thing.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2011 On tap (multiple glasses) at Blue Palms 3rd Anniversary. Pours with a clear golden hued body and a small white head that lasts for the duration. Huge citrusy notes, dank, tropical fruit, grapefruit, resin. Minimal malt aromas. Flavors are dank, papaya, citrus, and tropical fruit. All about the hops. Bitter balance, floral, bursting with flavor and aroma. Lively bubbles, dry with a medium lingering bitterness. Very tasty! Second batch is even an improvement on the first!
