On tap at their place in Long Beach. Pours dark brown to black. Aroma is lots of roast. Bitterness is on. Slightly sweet. I don’t like the style at all, but this is one that I could drink. Good beer.

Bottle... Pours pitch-black with a small cappuccino head. The aroma features deeply roasted malts, dark chocolate and a kiss of vanilla. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and adequate carbonation. Tons of deeply roasted malts, black patent malt and Euro-hop bitterness balances things out. Burnt, roasty finish. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz!
