COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Udder Love is a traditional milk stout that’s packed with rich flavors. We begin with British Maris Otter malt for a toasty foundation, then layer on three different types of British roasted malts for coffee and bittersweet chocolate flavors. The beer is finished with milk sugar from the heart of America’s dairyland, Wisconsin, adding a silky mouthfeel. Enjoy this smooth and luscious milk stout and fall utterly in love. *contains lactose IBUs 30

Brown/black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, nice roasted malt, with a smooth clean malt bitter. Medium body with smooth carbonation.

On draft at the brewery. It pours dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma is balanced between coffee, toast and cocoa. Equal parts of each and very interesting. The flavor is more of the same. Nice balance of roasted malt, cocoa and spice. Nice beer.

On draft at Beechwood in the LBC. Balck pour with a slight tab head and lacing. Not much to the aroma but the taste is quite good. Sweet, hoppy and just enough bitterness to balance. Roasted malt finish.

Roasty, coffee aroma. A little smoky. Coffee/cocoa roasted and smoky flavors, balanced with some malt sweetness. Toasty, caramel aftertaste. Slightly acidic. Seems kind of thin for the style.

Bottle @ a recent bottle share... Poured darkish, near black with a thin head. Smooth, easy drinking. Some sweetness, lactose sugar, and light cocoa. Some roast but it seemed like coffee/mocha/mealy sweetness was showcased here.

S: Roasted malts, cacao powder, chocolate, nuts, figs, some lactose and brown sugar but most of the smell was covered by the dark roast. P: Almost completly black with a thin light brown lacing. T: The rich roast is there, followed by clean sugar, coffee roast and a bit of lactose. M: Highly carbonated, light with roasty bitterness. O: I thought this was gonna bring more like there other stouts, it was nice overall.

22oz bottle, courtesy of Beachwood. Thanks! 2-prong rate. Milk chocolate: just lush amounts throughout, coming through in the aroma alongside cocoa and dark fruits; the core, or nearly core, note in the mouth, textured by fine-bubbled carbonation and cola; nicely integrated without weighing heavy. Milk: a viscosity pervades this nicely, a lactic weight in the mouth; the chocolate character stays on the softly sweet side; great marriage between firm chocolate, plush texture.

Pours very dark, blackish with a reddish tinge, tan head, very fine bubbles. A bit of lustre to the surface. Nose is wet, bookish, black coffee with trace dark cocoas. Taste is sweet, clean sugar, with a very creamy, lush feel with mineral calcium. Finish is bitter, sweet and sour. This is a perfect little beer.
