My Bottom Line:
Doughy cereals and delicate citrusy hops work in a muddled environment which doesn’t detract from the fact this can be a flavourful quencher.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers cloudy golden.
-The hops should have been brighter (not more intense though).
-This was not as refined a product as their Legless Rambler was that day. Perhaps they served me something from the bottom of the cask, or were they having issues with the cask itself?
-That being said, you can tell this beer has great potential.
-The mouthfeel was cushy and supremely drinkable; you have no idea this is a 3.5% brew.
On cask at The Tiger Inn, East Dean.
