I enjoyed some of this beer on draft while aboard a tour boat in the Beagle Channel itself. The beer had a rich copper-orange color with a huge tan foamy head that had good retention and cling. It had a sweet malt aroma with caramel, and some grainy hops too. The flavor was sweet caramel with a touch of bitter grain as well. It had good carbonation and fizz and an average wetness.

bottle. Poured dark copper with a large creamy tan head. Aroma of brown sugar and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, average carbonation. Sour cherries, light caramel malt flavours. A bit metallic finish. Not awful.

Bottled 355ml. -as Beagle Fuegian Red Ale (Roja). Hazy orange/amber coloured, medium sized tan head, sourish over-ripe fruit nose. Sweetish malty, touch of caramel and strong sour over-ripe fruits taste. Also very sour finish. Infected bottle???

It poured a hazy orange golden liquid with a medium foam that left allot of lacing on the side of the glas. It had a very weak smell, I couldn’t really distinguish anything and they smell from the kitchen covered anything that might have been there. When I tasted it I was a bit dissapointed as I expected an american style IPA. Not even sure if this qualifies in any of the IPA styles and I now see that it is supposed to be an amber ale. Anyway, it tasted of honey, some malt and alcohol. It had a very low bitterness and I couldn’t sense any hops at all. Quite dissapointed since I expected something else. Neither me or Per enjoyed this one.

Bottled at Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy orange colour with a rich creamy tan-coloured foam. Sweetish and fruity aroma of caramel, and oranges with notes of flowers. Medium-bodied with notes of mango, caramel and over-riped oranges: Quite fruity finish with notes of resin.

IPA-12oz bottle-pours a big rich light tan head and hazy amber color. Aroma is soft medium malt-some caramel, secondary spicy/earthy hops. Taste is medium malt-some caramel, secondary spicy/earthy/some metallic hops. A malt dominant beer, good but out of style with some ESB character.

Hazy amber ale with a thin white head. Aroma of homebrewed ale, lightly infected, yeasty, with light peppery notes, sweet. In mouth, reminds me of my Irish Ale...probably made from extract. A light sweetness, with very little hops, but lots of esters from the yeast, tingling notes. Not bad. BB is Oct. 2006. Bought in Ushuaia, 4AR$.
