COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Polar Bear Lager has a light amber colour with a delicate balance of hops and barley malt. This lager is easy to take at 5% alcohol and is brewed using a Czech yeast for a crisp clean taste.

341ml bottle sampled many years ago poured a pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head that left a few spots of lacing. Aroma is light caramel and cereal grains with some pleasant hop notes. Taste is malty sweetness and hop bitterness in a nice balance with a nice clean finish. A nice refreshing lager without the harshness of the many macros out there.

I like the idea of bears indicating the colour of the beer. This was a nice light beer with noticeable hops and barley, Better than most macros but nothing overly special.

Slight hoppy aroma. Pours a golden brown, carbonation low with a thin head. Decent palate with a slight maltiness. Hops are present but low. A mildly satisfying beer but not a standout.

A little dark for a lager with a slight haze. Light head with big bubbles. Hoppy for a lager. Thin body, light on malt.

I'm surprised I'm only the second person to rate this beer. Nice rendition of a narwhal on the label (about to be devoured by a polar bear). Darker than most lagers. Quite flavorful and hoppy for a lager and I was pleased.

Light gold color, small head. A light bodied lager, some malts and hops. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter
