Draught:   Copper hued amber, lively carbonation, moderate white head, frothy, nice lacing.   Bright citrusy aroma, some hops as well.   Not much on the aroma says IIPA to me, in terms of malts or sweetness.   Strong citrusy hops up front, minor sweetness, balanced with a bit more bitterness.   This one seems like a nice robust IPA, but lacks depth and body.   Needs more umph in my book.   As is, a very nice 1½ IPA.   Strong citrusy and resiny finish.

On tap at Apex with mcberko, pours an almost clear golden orange. Aroma of orchard fruits - pear, peach - and piney hops. Flavour of piney hops, resin, bubblegum, citrus, and orchard fruits. Very flavouful and balanced.

On tap at Apex in Portland, split with Matts_Property, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of floral, soapy and citrusy hops, with some light fruit. Flavour is very floral and citrus heavy, kind of soapy, with barely enough caramel malt to balance. Finishes floral and soapy. Very well-made.

On tap at tribes; pour is murky copper with a fine bubbled off white head in this tulip. Sticky lacing is present; the nose is apricot, piney hops, caramel malts really. The flavor profile has similar notes of apricot, grapefruit, piney hops, caramel; its sticky, fairly sweet, average carbonation. A nice attempt.

Pours copper, lacy white head. Aroma of fruity hops. Flavor is biter hops, orange, slight alcohol. Low carbonation, lasting dry bitterness on the finish.

On tap at Haymarket. Pours burnt orange with off-white head. Aromas of piney hops and sweet malt, some citrus hops in there as well. Flavors of pine, tons of bitter hops and sweet malt. Not a very drinkable IIPA with this much sweet malt. Was really looking forward to this but oh well.

After missing this on several occasions, I finally got a chance to try this. 14oz pour at Churchkey is a hazy, burnt orange with a creamy, lacing white head. Nice fruity nose, grapefruit, sticky hops, piney, earthy. Flavor is hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, sticky hops, caramel. Full bodied, sticky, bitter finish.

Orange color with off white head. Pine needles in the aroma. And so bitter. And delicious.
