Pours copper, lacy white head. Aroma of fruity hops. Flavor is biter hops, orange, slight alcohol. Low carbonation, lasting dry bitterness on the finish.

On tap at Haymarket. Pours burnt orange with off-white head. Aromas of piney hops and sweet malt, some citrus hops in there as well. Flavors of pine, tons of bitter hops and sweet malt. Not a very drinkable IIPA with this much sweet malt. Was really looking forward to this but oh well.

After missing this on several occasions, I finally got a chance to try this. 14oz pour at Churchkey is a hazy, burnt orange with a creamy, lacing white head. Nice fruity nose, grapefruit, sticky hops, piney, earthy. Flavor is hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, sticky hops, caramel. Full bodied, sticky, bitter finish.

Orange color with off white head. Pine needles in the aroma. And so bitter. And delicious.

Draft at Jerry’s. Golden amber with big, foamy, off-white head / Nose of spun sugar, citrus, toast, and pine / Medium body, creamy and chewy, with only moderate hopping but good balance and bitter finish / Somewhat earthy, malty, flavors of candied orange, cherry, bubblegum, and pine / Darn good.

Clear gold, thick beige head. Aroma of pine, grass, resin and sweet citrus. Taste is quite bitter with a jammy fruit sweetness. Very nice.

Dogbrick (6058) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 19, 2011
On draught at Mellow Mushroom in Dublin. The beer is a mostly clear tangerine color with a medium thick white head that recedes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus hops, bready malt and caramel. The finish is hoppy with a zesty citrus aftertaste. Above average IPA overall.

On tap at hop angel. Hoppy aroma, pine. Strong, overwhelming bitterness, fresh hops. No malt balance. Very one dimensional.
