Lots of citrus with a good dose of florals in this, making a good disguise for the booze. Pours hazy golden with decent head and lacing. Finish is pretty bitter with some tang. Tap at Churchkey.

With Zach and Audrie at Brass Tap, Coral Springs, pours an copper orange color. Nose is deep sweet citrus with a predominance of grapefruit and passionfruit. Taste is bittersweet with strong citrus and moderate pine and resin. Finish is bittersweet and has a moderately long citrus ending. Quaff Score 7 / 10

On tap at Brass Tap Coral Springs. Pours orange with an off white head and aroma of hops and citrusy fruits. Taste is bitter, nice hop notes with citrus, grapefruit and fruit notes into the dry, bitter finish

Delicious, juicy grapefruit hop aroma. Medium yellow with a white head. More sweet and bitter grapefruit in the taste along with a green dankness. Not cloying at all which is surprising considering all the hoppy goodness here. Perfectly balanced caramel and honey sweetness for the bitterness. The alcohol is obvious but also perfectly balanced. Finishes sweet and bitter with lasting citrus notes. This is a big, balanced, delicious DIPA!

Aroma is citrus floral and sweet bright malt forward. Light pine. Appearance is copper hazy with a medium frothy off white head. Taste is citrus apricot pine aroma hopping forward with a pronounced sweet caramel malt. Firm bitterness finishes. Palate is medium and crisp. Malt is larger than typical for the style which I feel balances the sizeable hop bitterness well. Alcohol warmth is pleasant and subtle. Overall one of the best of the style I have had. Nothing really new here, but everything is big and done well. Extra maltiness is what I think makes this a little different though.

Pours a nice deep copper. Great hoppy aroma. Good body with just enough sweetness to cut down on any excess bitterness. This is a good one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grapefruit, pine and orange peel. Hazy copper. Nice crisp mouthfeel lots of pine. High alcohol masked well by enormous hop.

Bomber into pint glass. Deep orange color with a creamy whitish head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is bitter citrus pith, mint, pine and crystal malt. Flavor is mostly bitter hops, warm, pine resin and alcohol. Palate is sticky and thick. Another good IPA from Bear Republic... But not great.

22oz bomber into a glass. This has to be a bad bottle. Can’t tell by the sell by date as it is illegible. That’s a sign. Pours a hazy orange amber. Head is nice, massive, and white, giant head. Aroma is of sour melon, old pine and little hops, bland for a dipa. Taste is gross grapefruit, sour apple, Macintosh, and rotten pear. Mouth feel is dry and sour. $9 for this? Not worth it, has to be a bad bottle, right? Abv is non detectable. Not cool overrated package store.
