3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Whole Foods
Cloudy orange to light amber color. The aroma is very fruity, there are citrus fruits, grapes, hop resins and a strong flowery component. The mouthfeel is drier than the average DIPA, with a toasty malt background, lightly biscuity, followed by strong bitterness, hop resins, less fruitiness.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A: The pour is a slightly hazy golden amber color with a thin white head on top.
S: The nose has plenty of fresh grapefruit and other citrus hops. There is a bit of pine and a touch of sweet malt.
T: The hops provide a real fruity character to the beer with lots of grapefruit and pineapple but do not think this is a sweet IPA. There is a ton of bitter, resinous, piney hop flavor as well.
M: The body is medium to full with a moderate carbonation.
D: This is actually one of the better DIPAs I’ve had. A fantastic amount of bitterness along with almost no alcohol presence.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at the brewpub. Amber color with a miniscule white head. Moderate hoppy aroma. Taste is more than moderately hoppy. Strong pine. Very. NW hophead delite. The resin inflames the membranes. Not all that bitter - barring the hop burn. Really good ale.

On tap at Bistro DIPA Fest poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, apricot, orange, light pine and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodie and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light orange with a smooth lingering bitter finish.
