22oz bottle, pours golden copper and maintains a small head. Big oily hop grapefruit nose followed by pine. Big hop flavors, more grapefruit and orange mixed well the malts. Good mouthfeel. Bitter citrus finish, very cleansing. Qualifies to me as a Dbl IPA.. Very good!

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 22 oz Bottle. The aroma has a strong citrus scent, pine & some resin. The taste is very hoppy upfront with a lot of citrus notes. Overall a great DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Super rich deep copper and bronzed coloured body with a rich orange glow and a pale three centimetre tall head - this is what you want an Imperial IPA to look like! Aroma of grapefruit, oranges, curacao, pine, rich malt, alcohol and way more fruit - apricots, peaches and grapes, very pungent in hop smell and a very intoxicating aroma. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich pungent and dank hop flavours with the grapefruit and pine the strongest and a deep malt note to balance out the tons of hops - all with a subdued fruit flavour at the end. Aftertaste has a ridiculously smooth balance of malt and hops, but of course, the centre of the flavours is around the pungent hopping with grass, herbs and pine noticeable and a touch of resin coupled with the sweetness at the very end. Overall, a very nice Imperial IPA - perhaps one of the best I’ve had, with a rich, but not overwhelming flavour and depth - great to sample, definitely get it if you like the style and can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom), DC on 24-February-2014 for US$8.99 sampled at home in Washington on 28-May-2014.

Top 5 IPA for me here. Pours a cloudy amber color. Aroma of juicy fresh hops - grapefruit, pine, and some tropical fruits. Perfect mouthfeel and bitterness. Reminds me of the OG Ruination very much. They absolutely nailed this one. The perfect west coast IPA. Will buy if I can locate it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

GABF 05. Pours gold with an aroma of banana and sweet fruit. Flavor is a wonderfully tasty mixture of pine, grapefruit and other sour fruits. Palate coats. Fantastic.

Draft pours a beautiful golden color with a good amount of carbonation. Big pine, citrus and slightly funky (in a good way) aroma. WOW. Great first sip. A lot of citrus hop bitterness that fades quickly into a medium sweet body with some caramel and slight candy quality. Nicely balanced. Very nice DIPA.

On draft at Capones. Pours a semi clear light orange amber with a medium off white head. Aroma of strong piney notes and plenty of hops. Taste of piney resin, citrus and plenty of hops. Classic west coast ipa.

Multiple drafts at Capones. Man this sucker is 8.1% but goes down so smooth and easy no wonder why I was so banged up by the time I left Capones. Calm down everyone I had a driver....geez. Pours an orange/amber with a large fluffy white head. Pine and citrus hops in the aroma and flaovr of super fresh hops with some grassy notes as well. Man was this good stuff.
