Pours thick with very little head. Not quite as heavy tasting as it poured and smelled. Nice bitter aftertaste with a light but malty flavor. Definitely one I will purchase again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by VT, thanks a lot! Pours a dark brown with a thin beige head that offers low lace. Nose is of alcohol and roasted malt, a bit too boozy. Taste is roasted, burnt malt, hops and a little sugar. This isn’t cloying or heavy, though. Body is medium, mouthfeel really smooth.

Bottle. Roasty, smoky, meaty aroma. Roasty flavour, subtle chocolate, cream, notes of red meat. A little thin for an imperial stout, but easy drinking and you'd never guess it was 8%. If it was a regular stout, it would be pretty good.
