I would like to rerate this beer.
goldtwins (3730), Nesconset, New York, USA Oct 30, 2007 GABF 2007: Poured a hazy brown color with an off-white head. The aroma was of raisins, apples, fruity, brown sugar. some age on the malt. Nice vanilla and bourbon. just enough bourbon in the flavor. Bourbon from the front and back. Fruity malt middle. Full bodied. jazz88 (2205), San Francisco, California, USA Feb 25, 2007 Tap @ brewery 2/25/07. They informed me that this was a double red rocket. Hazy and murkey brown color with a brown head. A big bitter full bodied beer with a nice spice and a touch of chocolate malts. JohnC (1736), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jun 24, 2007 I had this on tap at stone bistro. it pourded an opaque very dark brown. Lots of alcohol in the nose and flavor. Good up front malt with a lot of hops on the back end. fordest (1684), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Dec 6, 2007 GABF. Another good Rocket beer at the fest. Sweet and fruity hops on the flavor and the aromas. More malty on the finish. Some alcohol. Very good.
