4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nose has a robust citrus hop profile in the nose and in the finish. Strong with a bit of alcohol but light sweetness. A bit resinous also. Really just a nice example of the west coast hoppy ipa style.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A- Pours a deep hazy tangerine color with a 1.5 finger off white head that leaves frothy lacing on the way down.
S- Citrus, tangerine, blood orange, grapefruit, apricot
T- Deep bitterness all the way through, apricot, tangerine, grapefruit, caramel, residual sweetness, slightly piney on the back end.
M- Thick with medium carbonation.
D- Really delicious smelling brew that packs a punch. Way too big to enjoy all the time but something I really savored and enjoyed.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
How do I rate this so high for a beer that I really didn’t enjoy? It really looks great, has a great aroma and carries well in the glass, with nice head and lacing,. But it’s really not all that and a bag of chips. Very loud up front and taking all the gory with a bang od bitter and hops, but lacking a backing and back.
I get a lot of alcohol astringent, and this with the orange citrus makes it all a bit confused and unpleasant.
Despite that... some of this is really nice, I just think there are better efforts from this brewer, As alway I fret about being the one who says no.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Dutch’s in October 2013. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have some toasted bread and caramel malt, but really shows off the hop character. Citrus, resin and earthy hops throughout leading to a dry, moderately bitter finish.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Lots of sediment on the bottom of the bottle loosened in gobs when rolled. The beer is dingy golden and has a white head that is thick and slowly falls. A cool layer of lacing. Everything I like about hop aromas is in this one. Pine, citrus, tropical, floral. It is hop perfume. The flavor highlights all of the hop flavors beautifully. Malts are balanced with paler and caramel. There is a lot of understatement in this beer. Nothing overpowers but everything about this is delicious. If someone were to ask "what do I like in a big IPA" the answer would be THIS.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This was a joint tasting with Strylkzone. Pours an orange color with a foamy off-white head and moderate lacing. Nose is powerful with a solid caramel malt base and lots of hops including citrus, pine, and tropical fruit. Relatively full bodied. Flavor is tropical fruit, citrus, pine with again that solid caramel malt base. It finishes dry and moderately bitter but not overly so. This is a very well crafted beer and enjoyable from start to finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tannish and a bit hazy, with a bubbly head. Very melony, hints of grapefruit, light florals. It’s a bit chewy, but with more of those melon hops. The malts end up being quite assertive, chewy (from Cali, big shock, huh?), and alcohol kicks in late. All these hops, to me, demand a cleaner, lighter body.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber purchased at Escondido BevMo ($7.99). Pours a hazy golden amber hue with two fingers of fluffy white head. AROMA of sharp pine needles, bright and sweet citrus, salty sea air, some stone fruit, and resinous/herbal hops. FLAVOR of citric / floral / herbal hops, pine/cedar, all very balanced with a good amount of caramel malts. Nice semi-sweet and semi-bitter finish. The high ABV is completely concealed. I waited a little too long to open this, so the freshness is suspect...but the big hops do still come through quite nicely. (262, 854)

Gotta drink this young. This Is my last and 4th I think. Young it is spectacular, does not age well as one would expect. Still worth drinking!
