COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Café Racer 15™ features aromas of bright citrus and resinous pine from the generous use of Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops which are complimented by a dry malt finish. The result is a high revving Double IPA that is loud and assertive, much like the rebellious street racers who inspired it. Never ride alone...

Nice balance of malt and hop flavors. Not over the top on either. Very drinkable. Always a wise choice to have one, when available.

Slightly hazy bronze with a thin sticky foamy head that leaves loads of lace. The nose has some aroma that’s hard to describe, but the best I can come up with is "NZ hop shampoo"; tropical notes and a sweet floral/herbal tone mix with a bit of sweetness to make a really nice aroma. The taste is nice and sweet with delightfully rustic toffee and toast malts mixing with an earthy grapefruit rind and grassy resinous hop note. Dry biscuity caramel finish. Really complex an smooth.

Clear orange beer, irregular white head, bit stable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity start, floral, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, sweet honey-like touch, citrus, piny, resinous. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sour start, lots of sweet malts, citrus, honey, some ripe mango. Aftertaste: fruity, sweet, passion fruits, mango, gentle bitterness. Nice one. But why so much alcohol?

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 22 oz Bomber. The beer pours to a light orange color with very little head. The aroma is very strong with bright citrus, pine, stone fruit scents. The taste is medium in body with light carbonation, nice malt body & a good hop bitterness to finish that lingers for a while. Overall an excellent DIPA for my taste. Would buy again!

On tap at Sugar Maple. Hazy amber with a creamy beige slowly fading topper. Aroma of citrus, caramel, grapefruit with some mangoes, peaches and booze underneath. Taste is sweet and boozy with an aggressive bitter finish. In between you get plenty of citrus, grapefruit and caramel.

22oz bottle pours clear golden orange with very small head. Nose is orange, fruity, citrus. Taste is more of the same with a heavy malt presence and a bitter citrusy finish. This bottle was a bit old, but still pretty decent.
