Café Racer 15™ features aromas of bright citrus and resinous pine from the generous use of Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops which are complimented by a dry malt finish. The result is a high revving Double IPA that is loud and assertive, much like the rebellious street racers who inspired it. Never ride alone...

Bomber. Sweet and hoppy with a hint of orange. Color is murky orange. Small mostly eroding head. Rich and quite strong. Excellent balance. Sweet and hoppy, just like it smells. Quite wonderful.

Tap at the Blind Tiger, NYC, 25/11/13. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is juicy hops, caramel malt, bitter orange, grapefruit, pine. Taste comprises earthy hops, caramel malt forward, orange pith, grapefruit, citric dipped straw, pine bite. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, hint of booze, hop bitterness in the closure. Alcohol very well tempered in this number!

Hazy gold - amber beer with a tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and slightly viscous. fine carbonation. Medium creamy malt supports resinous hops. Sweet pine, spicy orange and a touch of tropical fruits. Aniseed alcohol before a smooth semi dry finish.

Foamy head with a honey color. Smell is excellent.. superb balance. The taste was a bit more neutral than I thought it’d be. Palate is a little too thick for my liking.

Bottle a while back from Beer Study. Damn, this disappointed me a little bit for how much I love Racer 5 when it’s fresh. Just a bit too sweet for me.

A thoroughly accessible DIPA, although a bit on the sweet side. Scent smells strongly of honey notes and citrus. Flavors are dominated by the sweet honey notes, although the unmistakable bitterness of Amarillo and Cascade hops are present. The finish has a pleasantly clean astringency. Enjoyable but lacking the complexity of higher-rated DIPAs.

Tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Pours a nice golden orange with a small white cap. Nose is full of tropical fruits, grapefruit thick caramel and toasty malts. The tropical fruits jump at you from the glass. Taste is juicy grapefruit upfront with the toasty malts and caramel coming through. Booze hidden so well. Love how juicy the hops are this baby is fresh!!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Hazy golden pour with white head. Citrus and grassy and herbal hop aromas. Flavor is herbal and grassy but lacks solid citrus flavors, has some malt tone.

Bomber format Caramel orange color. Bright white sticky head, great lacing and head retention. Tropical fruit and dank nose at the same time. Very nice. Good malt backbone to this as well. Taste is bitter and sweet. Really meshed well with the bright tropical fruits and the bits of dankness to go along with this. Very well balanced. Feel is oily at first then dry finish. Nice. Good balance to it.
