Café Racer 15™ features aromas of bright citrus and resinous pine from the generous use of Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops which are complimented by a dry malt finish. The result is a high revving Double IPA that is loud and assertive, much like the rebellious street racers who inspired it. Never ride alone...

"Dark brew, aroma full of cherries and chocolate, plum and spice. The strength shows a little, but it’s not hot. Ends up being a tasty blend of fruit spice ad cocoa in equal measures."

Pours a gorgeous hazy amber with a finger of white head. Strong aroma of juicy citrus; orange, grapefruit. Slight pine notes as well. The aroma matches the flavor with more of the citrus fruits coming through. Sweetness from the malts and alcohol are present. Very balanced and tasty DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lovely double IPA. Had on tap in downtown Los Angeles in a paddle next to their racer 5 IPA.

Very juicy tropical fruit aromas. Hazy orange with a fairly lasting, bubbly white head. Dry, bitter, freshly hoppy. Light-medium bodied, clean, very refreshing.

Let me start by saying I need more Bear Republic in my life. Their hop sensibilities seem to be tuned to my palate. Bottle, pours a lightly hazed golden orange with a nice head. Aroma is a lime green, lime green and tangerine. Flavor matches, with a hint of pine over the relatively neutral caramel malt underpinnings. Great balance while still being a showcase for the hops. Truly masterful. Love, love, love this. Wish like heck that I could get a growler.

On draft at Hay Merchant. Clear orange pour, fluffy white head. Sons is grapefruit, pine, apricot, lemon zest. Sweetness from a malt presence and alcohol. Super sticky motel costs the tongue. A joy to drink.

Draft at Strangeloves. Hazy orange pour that starts with a gigantic frothy white head. Taste is strongly reminiscent of the Racer Five but fuller and more alcoholic. Big orange pith flavors. Lots of drying oak barrel notes. Wonderful stuff but maybe a bit too one note.
