Café Racer 15™ features aromas of bright citrus and resinous pine from the generous use of Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops which are complimented by a dry malt finish. The result is a high revving Double IPA that is loud and assertive, much like the rebellious street racers who inspired it. Never ride alone...

Hardly ever rate anymore but this one deserves special mention. Had it on tap at ben and Nick’s. Great aromas of hops and citrus, wonderful flavor profile, just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness, the alcohol shines through a bit, but it meshes well. Nice thick palate, just right for an Imperial IPA.

Hazy dark amber with a very big fluffy head. Nice hop scent. Gorgeous delicate malt body with strong fumey hops carried on a boozy cloud.

Bottle pours hazy gold. Musty nose. Taste is fairly fresh with thick juicy hops. Big full body with a thick body on the end. Not refreshing but tasty.

Aroma is floral citrus. Appearance is hazy orange copper with small off white head that lingers for a bit. Taste is a nice balance of crisp hop bitterness, pleasant sweet malt and floral citrus hopping. Alcohol warming but not harsh. Palate is medium but still crisp due to high IBU’s. Bitterness and citrus linger on the tongue. It tastes like a large beer but is still quite drinkable. Overall a well done IIPA. No real flaws but it isnt doing anything dozens of other big IPA’s arent doing.

Pours a hazy light orange color with a creamy white head. Notes of fresh air, orange citrus, grass, and brown sugar. Very well balanced and delicious.

Softly aromatic; a light apricot and grapefruit aroma stems from a hazy, orangely-apricotish (two non-words that are so accurate that I couldn’t help but use them hyphenated) flavor intense liquid. As I drink, the head clings in sheets across the sides of the glass rather than lacing it and although diminished, also sits persistent atop the brew. Off the top, hugely boozy. After a few sips, slightly boozy and very flavorful. The taste is much bigger than the aroma within just a few degrees in temperature, and the bitter is well balanced with the sweetness of the malt. It is, without a doubt, loud and assertive and very dry, creating a thirst for the drinker and an easy warmth with the higher ABV. A little on the caramel malty side for my taste, but a pleasant balance nonetheless and a very nice example of the style.

Apricot and grapefruity aroma. Taste the same also tropical citrus and very hoppy. Surprisingly not too bitter. Just a perfectly hopped and smooth ipa. Delicious.

From a bomber. Pours a murky orange-juice color and makes a small white head. Smells like a mixture of fresh hops, citrus, and pine. Tastes just like a double should, big, but not too boozey. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2014 "Had this beast once before, but it even stands out amongst other great beers. Ample malt and a good dose of sticky sweetness, but far from what is call balanced. This hop monster showcases citrus hops, plain and simple. Lemon, orange and grapefruit peel. A touch of evergreen. Aggressive and delicious!"
