3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Pwn3d (1909) - Manhattan, USA - NOV 8, 2011
Draft at Blind Tiger.. Sweet tangerine and strawberry fruity flavors subtly found in this lactic and dusty ale. Low key but interesting. Carbonation is vivacious but soft and airy.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6724) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 11, 2012
Draught. Arbitrary score 4/5 for Appearance, as nighttime conditions prevented correct assessment. Fruity nose, yeasty, but mildly so; bananester and pineapple(ester). Again those fruity-sweet esters, but with a dry grainy background. Even a touch from USA-hops. Light to medium bodied, quite slick, mineral water quality. Nice. Seems to miss a tad more body, but easily drinkable for sure.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nik925 (639) - California, USA - MAR 26, 2012
Really disappointed in this one...reallllly missed the mark. Nutty malt upfront, bad aftertaste, and some of the mellowest Belgian yeast ever. I know singles are hard to come by (as when someone wants a Belgian, they want to taste it) but this just gets lost in the wash. Would love to try a double Cher Ami or a barrel aged Cher Ami. haha

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ben4321 (2213) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 12, 2011
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2011 Location: Draft at RnH, 11/12/11
Aroma: The nose is fairly sweet with wheaty flavors, spice, and a little banana
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color, slight haze, white head, and light lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet too, somewhat wheaty and yeasty, with minimal hop presence
Palate: The body is fairly light and a touch watery, and it has a soda-like carbonation and mouthfeel
Overall Impression:
This one is decent overall, but nothing special. It was not one of the better offerings I’ve had from Bear Republic, and I wouldn’t run out for it again.

Tap at rattle and hum. Pour is a golden color with a white head. Nose is dominated by orange. Taste is typical of the style, nothing particularly special though still a good refreshing beer.
