Draught at Churchills Pub & Grille, San Marcos. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy citrus and pine apple aroma, mango, oranges, grapes, some clementines, floral notes. Hoppy pine flavor, oranges, grassy, mango, pine apples, caramel, biscuit notes, hay, some citrus. Hugely refreshing beer, top class!

March 24, 2014 - on tap at Churchill. Clear yellow pour with some head and lacing. Aroma and taste of earthy and piney hops. Finish was bitter and slightly soapy.

Draft at Hollingsehead. Pours a rich and clear golden with small head, which says something at Hollingshead. Aroma is light danky pineapple hops with some other citrus elements. Taste is very bitter and dank. Really surprised and liking that as I haven’t gotten a really dank IPA in a while. Very nice overall.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrua. Enormous citrus and grapefruit aroma explodes out of the glass. Pours a hazy pale orange with full white head. Flavor is strong citrus and some juicyness. Moderate low malt backing in nicely in support. Full flavored and well balanced.

Sampled at GABF 2013. Poursa hazy yellow with some white, frothy head. Nose is musty, grass, chive, lemon. Flavor has lots of grass, malt, scallion, pine. Zesty, refreshing finish. Very nice. Very drinkable.

From tap in Healdsburg. Grapefruit in a glass, with a whole lotta hop citrus attitude. LOVE LOVE LOVE Mosaic hops and rye, and this does them up right. I wish I could drink this in Texas everyday. Pegged my meter.

Tap at GABF 2013. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is year citrus fruit and a hint of barnyard. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a yeast liqourice bitter hop citrus fruit palate. A most unusual beer. I was expecting an APA but it was anything but.

Tap. Pours cloudy golden, medium creamy white head, great lacing. Aroma is beautiful mango, grapefruit, passion fruit, light butter. Flavor is the same, lots of tropical grapefruit, light sweet, light bitter. Medium body, oily, sappy mouthfeel. This is a nice beer.

Tap. Bright, hazy yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is pine and bitterness with soem citrus (perhaps grapefruit) over a clean and grainy malt backbone. Taste is mostly bitter with pine and a dry malt backbone. Clean, dry mouthfeel. Fairly aggressive with the bitterness but not overdone. Great IPA and my favorite beer amongst the Sour Fest leftovers.

Tap at Churchill’s Sour Fest. Pours low haze, glowing straw with huge white lacing. Nose is dank, fresh, juicy tropical hops, bright white pepper. Taste is big coriander, soapy like cilantro, loads of floral hops. Aggressive IBUs moving to something too soapy for me, harsher bitterness.
