hoppier than your standard Belgian.   The two almost fight each other.   Is it more of a Pale or a Belgian?   Almost has a smoked or charred wood aspect on the finish.   Finishes with a cereal like aspect, musty, barnish,
with a bit of a hop bite.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Interesting beer, good, but I am still mixed on the whole hoppy Belgian style ales.   Certainly unique tho.

Spicy and a bit of yeast to begin but the fruit really took over as I went. Not my cup of tea, but it was intriguing to see what a different strain of yeast can do to something I know well. Toasty malt aroma with a fair amount of fruity esters. The flavor brings a general fruity sweetness, along with floral hops and sweet caramel malt. Not bad. CUJO (384), Brooklyn, New York, USA

Some hop aroma. Dark bronze coloured and very fruity with a bitter lasting wheaty finish.
