4 oz draft pour at Churchkey. Poured a murky ruby-brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma ws notes of sweet fruits, sour cherries, wine notes, some vanilla woody notes. Flavor was not as funky, but retains a lot of that woody vanilla barrel character. Light tartness. Pretty tasty.

"A pleasant but unspectacular sour from a brewer I like quite a bit. Fruity and tart, not too sour. Floral too, with an odd herbalness more fitting to a saison. Quaffable and refreshing, though kind of a beginners sour. 2nd try in 2014 waaaay better. Oaky as hell, pretty sour. 3.5/4.1"

Draft at Snallygaster 2014. Great sour beer, with hints of cherry and other fruit. Very refreshing. Glad I got to sample this.

From a tap at the brewery. At my first few sips I thought it was a bit too sour and now at the half way mark it has a dark berry like wine taste .It doesn’t flesh out as good as Cuvee De Tomme which I thought of this beer when I saw it on the list .

On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a reddy brown color with a bit of head. Sour aroma. High level of sourness but it tastes a little bit like what I recall Tang tasting like.

Sample at Rattle N Hum. This beer is a dark orange color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with notes of malt and yeast. Medium body with flavors of tart fruit, peppery yeast and malt. The finish is fruity up front with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
