3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at fireworks leesburg. Pours brown with a thin khaki head. Leaves a fair amount of lacing in the glass. There's a lot of the red wine barrel influence on the nose and tongue. A bit of tartness on the tongue as well but not as pronounced as the wine. Finished clean. Solid but not spectacular.
