Brewed with Pilsner and Vienna malts and a light touch of noble hops, this light, pale lager is malty yet crisp and refreshing.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Slight haze to the light golden pour. Grainy aroma, hint of butter. Flavor has some honey sweetness, some graininess, a bit of a buttery back end and a sharp hoppy bite in the finish. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. Solid pils.

Clear yellow with a white hat. A hint of bright fruit over this mildly floral and grain filled pils. It has a soft finish where I usually look for a crisper end. Refreshing and simple. Very enjoyable.

Pours clear straw yellow. Nose is grass, corn. Taste is crisp, clean, cereal, dry. Not bad at all if you’re looking for a straightforward pils, but I prefer a hoppier style.

12 oz bottle poured. Slightly pale golden color with a quick fading head. Big skunk, corn aroma. I’m glad the flavor was much more appealing. Crisp flavor, straw and spicy malts. Has a sweetness that hides as well. Slight cream. Too many things were off on this for me. Alright overall.

Brilliant clear clean golden hue with a thin white foamy top. Big nose of Pilsner malt and earthy German bready spicy tones that’s almost earthy funky, with something gently peppery. Crisp blonde flavor that’s very clean and Germany, lightly grassy to bitter it to balance, and a clean gentle pale Pilsen malt to finish crisply.

Location: Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA
Aroma: Light corn, herbal, grass
Taste: Very light with some herbal bitterness on the finish
Overall: Not really a new take on the style (maybe that’s not what the brewer was going for) but was hoping for a little more of BR’s point-of-view on this one.

Bottle 8/19. Pours a clear orange yellow. Light bready aroma. Light bitterness, light bread taste. Light medium body. Light lingering aftertaste.

12oz bottle via Xroads. Poured a sort of dull bright gold with a foamy smaller white head. Aroma of grapes, grains, bad honey topped bread, dough. Flavor is similar but a bit more crisp and floral. Medium body, creamy, softer carbonation. Meh....

Some pilsners are great. Some are terrible. A lot of them are mediocre. This is quite mediocre. Nothing about it stands out. It’s drinkable. That’s about it.

Poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread, light citrus and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread and light fruitiness with a smooth dry finish.
