In as much as I wasn’t wowed by the Red Rocket, I was blown away by the double! Deep amber in color, rich and malty, yet overly hoppy. So many beers here that a hophead would love. Big frothy head, tons of hop aroma. Nice stuff!

GABF. Lots of hoppy charactar. Lots of citrus and grass. Toasty aromas and flavors. I really liked this one.

GABF 2007: Imperial Red. Poured an almost clear deep chestnut color with a beige head. Malty, toasty, and nutty with some hops. That is for both the aroma and flavor. Full bodied and silky. Good warmth.

GABF 2007. Some excellent offerings from BR this year, and this was one of ’em. Deep amber/garnet in color. Chocolate and caramel flavor w/ a nice, hoppy nose.
