Pour on tap, light orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of rich caramel, bread, biscuit, spicy notes going into hints of grass, grain, and earthy tones, touch of cracker and a vanilla sweetness. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, into some grass, bread, yeast with some spice, touch of spice in there, finishing fairly sweet, slight dry notes as well.

On tap. Pours amber with almost no head. Very little aroma - a whiff of cereal. Flavors of cereal, grain, and caramel. It’s the later that makes it interesting for a lager.

mcberko (4046) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 1, 2013
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is barely anything, maybe a bit of straw and bready malts. Flavour of straw, sweet corn malts and not much else. Bland, but drinkable and inoffensive. Not much to this one.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color with creamy head. It’s a mild Lager, with no flaws, and with light caramel aroma and flavor; quite bitter; the aroma presents some Lager yeast fruitiness too, and in the final there are some light hop characteristics.
Quite good.

This beer has a slightly reddish brown color with a thin wispy head. It is mildly flavored with just a hint of bitterness at the end. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft sampled at GABF 2012 with Moreau and Andrew. Pours a light amber body with white head. Palate is thin and crisp. Aroma and flavor are plain, but drinkable and sessionable - notes of grassy hop, sweet caramel malt and grain.

Sampler at the brewpub. Dark amber color, but aroma and flavor are pretty typical lager.

Draught at Monkey Paw, San Diego. Almost clear, golden/light amber liquid with huge white head. Aroma of cereal, noble hops, biscuit, fruity lager yeast and caramel. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with fruity lager yeast. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Really drinkable and nice lager.

Hanging with JoeT at the brewery on Aug 9, 2011 for my birthday. I was more focused on the company than the notes, but these’ll do until I get back there this summer and do it right. Honey amber pour. Grass and hay with clean bitter finish.
