Smooth and full-bodied, this English IPA incorporates traditional English malts and hops selected by our brewmaster. This is the beer that made it on the boat. Cheers!

Tap at Rattle N Hum. Deep amber pour with an off-white head. The nose has a touch of orange marmalade and softly sweet crystal malt. A little bit of caramel and toffee sweetness as well as some light earthiness. The bitterness is quite restrained. Lighlty plummy and a little bit of orange marmalade but it’s mostly a mish-mash of sweetish malts and light hops. A lingering stickiness on the back of the palate – not cloying at all but it could be dryer.

Draft @ Blind Tiger. Orange pour with white head. Aroma is citrus and slight bittering hops. Flavor doesn’t follow citrus, but bitter, and some malt background.

Tap at BT> Pours a medium dull amber with a thin head. Aroma is earthy light fruity bubblegum, toffee, caramel, tea, and mostly english-like- as it warms it has a lighter fresh hay and fresh cut grass after a light rain shower. Flavor is also earthy, woodsy light grass, tea, herbs and flowers with a toffee and medium crystal malt profile, - lemon and more flowers as it warms. Nice.

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear burnt orange with a small creamy whitish beige head. Perfumey floral and fruity hops up front with toasted and (slightly buttery) caramel malts. The flavor is pretty hoppy, adding some green leafy hops to all of the aforementioned aromas. Actually, the green leafy hops dominate the other hops in the flavor and are much less noticeable other than some light fruitiness. Semi-dry finish with bitterness @ a 4-5. Medium body with light to moderate prickly carbonation.Very tolerable--I’m sick of typing pretty decent.
