2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sperine (138) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2013
On tap at Capone's in Norristown, PA. I'm not going to pretend to be familiar with the style. I'm also not going to pretend I was in love with this beer. Definitely an interesting fruity blend, but nothing to write home about.

Sampler at the brewery. Golden pour. Sweet aroma of mild citrus and grass. Flavor is similar. Solid example of the style.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy golden with a finger or so of clingy white head. Nose is pale malt, apricotty fruit, white peppery spicy. Tastes pale malty, with a big apricotty fruity and honey flavor, and substantial hops. This is one of the better examples of this style I have come across.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BeerFunGuy (219) - California, USA - DEC 2, 2012
This beer has a slightly cloudy golden color with a little bit of white head. It has a slightly sweet taste and is much better than many kolsch style beers I have tried.

Sampled on tap at Church Key DC 10/22/09: Pours a hazy orange bronze with a frothy, clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet biscuity malts with a touch of grassy hops and lemon. Starts with good fullness and fine carbonation with some light toasty malty sweetness and earthy bittering hops with some citric tart balance before a slightly drier and smooth finish. A pretty decent Kölsch, but would be better with more floral character and less tartness.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JoeMcPhee (7620) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 20, 2009
Tap at Blind Tiger. Hazy golden pour. The nose is very clear with a kiss of light crackery graininess. A bit of straw and a kiss of light fruit. The beer itself is really quite dry and fresh tasting. There is very little in the way of hop aroma or flavour. Warming brings up a touch more soft pear estery character. Seemingly flawless.

On tap at Churchkey in Washington D.C. Pours a cloudy, orange amber with a thin white head. Aroma was surprising, fruity, sweet, berries, perfume. Flavor is sweet, fruity, some grains, a touch malty. Crisp finish. Session beer.
