Pours a very nice golden orange with a two finger off white head that lingers for a while and fades to excellent lacing. Aroma is of earth citrus, pine resin, bready malts, light sweet malts, and light caramel. Taste is of citrus (grapefruit and orange), pine, bready biscuit malts, sweet malts, and some light caramel malts. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty tasty, well balanced pale ale, and drinkable pale ale that is pretty sessionable.

Draft at Moriartys. Clear orange gold pour with white foam. Big earthy citrus hops flavors. Blonde caramel beneath, along with some amber fruit. Mandarins. Quince. Biscuits with orange marmalade. Autumn leaves. Hops over malt here but the end result, though bitter, has a milder finish than with Racer 5.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a foamy white head and lacing. It has a great resin hop aroma with a malt background. The flavor is hoppy pine and resin up front with a malt backbone and bitter finish.

Bottle to glass. Pours a clear orange with thick white head. Aroma is citrus fruit, grass, light malt sweetness. Taste is citrus, well balanced with malt and finishes with a solid bitterness. Palate is light to medium body with high carbonation. Pretty good! High hoppiness and bitterness for a pale.

Bottle from Mari’s. Best by November 2014. Pours hazt orange with a medium sized white head, strong retention. Gorgeous looking beer. The aroma has huge tropical fruit, light citrus, some pine notes in the distance. The taste has a nice dry bitterness that fades quickly to a grainy, juicy grapefruit juice, light pineapple. Very nice.
