12 oz. bottle from City Beer Store. Nose of faint citrus and yeast. Taste of citrus peel hops, not harsh or piney. Distinct flavor of malty bread and biscuits. Very smooth and balanced. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. ABV well hidden by the smoothness. Goes down so easy.

This beer is really sweet smelling. It has a really mild flavor to start and finishes with a bigger after taste. It has a wheaty flavor to begin and is more hoppy to finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Wine Warehouse, C’ville. Deep gold pour with a prominent creamy white head. The nose is of pine cone, PNW grassy hops. Moderate sweet caramel malt, funnel cake. Some juicy fruit gum. Dry pine needle flavor. Somewhat chalky bitterness. Just a bit of white bread. Fairly simple, without great depth of flavor. Medium body, active carbonation. Overall, this isn’t one of Bear Republic’s better offerings. Solid, but by no means a compelling beer.

Bottle at home in CT - picked up in NYC. Pours mostly clear, yellow-gold with a thick, frothy white head. The nose has some dusty pine needles, citrus peel, dry pale malts, peach. Light sweet flavor with mellow bitter hay, pine needles, lemon rind, some dry pale bread, biscuits. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. A bit dusty on the finish with further citrus rind, biscuity pale malts, sawdust, faint grass, nectarine, citrus pith. So so. Might not be in top condition.
